YAWAVE FEES
Yawave is a helper platform – hence the cost for using yawave is depending on how many helpers you want to manage (wave size and number), the range of helper management tools you want to use, and how long you are using this service. Based on these factrors, you control the cost for using yawave by chosing an appropriate subscription plan.
FEATURES & UTILIZATION
Subscription
You chose your plan based on your needs. If you are a private person who only needs basic features and a small wave, the free subscription might be sufficient. If you are company that wants a white label solution for many big commercial waves with also higher support requirements, the enterprise subscription might be right for you. Yawave offers 5 different subscriptions: Free, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Custom (for details see subscription types).
The subscription fee is a recurring cost being charged based on the chosen duration. Our subscriptions are being renewed automatically after the subscription term for the same term again and so on. Please note that termination of your subscription only applies after the ending of the current subscription term. A monthly subscription gives you the highest flexibility – with longer subscription durations you benefit from attractive discounts (for details see durations).

FLEXIBILITY
Modify, upgrade, downgrade, terminate
What if your needs change? Actually, we are convinced your needs will change, as you might start with a small wave that grows fast and you soon need more helper volume and more advanced analysis features. We give you highest flexibiity to adjust your subscription to your needs. You can adjust your current subscription or change the subscription type. An upgrade can be activated immediately – downgrades become effective at the end of the current subscription period («change upcoming subscription»).
In case your waves are growing fast and reach a helper volume limit in your current subscription plan, then you will get notified that an upgrade is required. You can adjust your plan and continue to use yawave features in your bigger waves.
Terminating can be done easily with the terminate button in your account. You can terminate anytime prior to the automatic renewal as long as you have all waves completed (no active waves or waves still being settled). You will have full access to the actual subscription plan until the end of your subscription term. Please note that for Enterprise customers with bank transfer special termination periods apply (termination 14 days prior to invoicing / invoicing 30 days prior to renewal).

EXCESS UTILIZATION
«Block/notify» or «pay as you go»
As corporate subscriber (Business and Enterprise subscription) you can chose how you want to deal with «excess utilization», for example when your wave is growing fast beyond the limits of your current subscription plan. The default «block/notify» option will restrict your account and notify you – you chose if and how you want to adjust your plan to allow for more volume. With the «pay as you go» option you will continue using our services without any interruption – additional volume (or features such as co-starters, templates, etc.) will be paid per use.
WAVE STARTER CHARACTER
Personal and corporate use
People using yawave for personal purposes can select any subscription. Companies that aim to use yawave for commercial purposes (wave starter commercial activities on behalf of a legal entity) must select a corporate subscription. In case the software is being used for such purposes with a non-corporate subscription, yawave reserves the right to invoice the appropriate subscription fee in accordance with the corresponding utilization.
ON-DEMAND
Services
For business and enterprise customers we also offer services such as customizing, success coaching or consulting. These services are ordered by the customer and charged on an hourly basis with a monthly invoice. Please contact us in case you have service needs. We are here to help you.
PAYMENT
Payment methods
We accept the credit cards VISA, MasterCard and American Express. Our payment is operated by stripe.com, a global leading payment service. We are happy to provide invoicing on our Enterprise subscriptions on quarterly basis (3 month renewal period at least). Contact us to setup payment by check or bank transfer. We do not offer monthly invoicing.

Frequently asked questions
How can I terminate my subscription?
Terminating can be done easily with the terminate button in your account. You can terminate anytime as long as you have all waves completed (no active waves or waves still being settled). You will have full access to the actual subscription plan until the end of your subscription term.
Do you offer a free trial?
It’s free to set up an account and create a wave with up to 100 visitors – which is sufficient to get a wave going or test the functionality. But once your wave grows beyond this, you’ll need to choose a premium plan. Please also keep in mind that if you set a wave reward even for a free wave we charge an incentive fee of 50% (percentage of reward issued) in case of success.
What timeframe should i choose?
With a one month duration you have highest flexiblity. But with longer durations you can benefit from discounts – and keep in mind that on average a wave / campaign lasts 2-3 months (also count in setup and analysis time).
Can I make a payment by invoice?
We are happy to provide invoicing on our annual and Business / Enterprise plans. Contact us to setup payment by check or bank transfer. We do not offer monthly invoicing.
Do you offer non-profit discounts?
While we don’t have standard discounts for non-profit or educational organizations, we do offer a discount when you sign up for an longer-term subscription (minimum one year). Please contact us for a non-profit discount.
Can I downgrade, for example from Enterprise to Business?
Sure, you can easily downgrade with the modify button in your account as long as you have all waves completed that you started in your previous subscription plan. Your downgrading will be effective when your current subscription terms ends.
Can I upgrade also while I have active waves?
Yes. You can easily upgrade with the modify button in your account – for example to allow for more visitors or to get access to additional functionality. In this case the upgrade will be effective immediately (please note that for running waves the incentive fee is defined by the subscription plan at moment the wave had been started).
What if I my visitors are growing beyond my plan’s limit?
Your plan is flexible. When you purchase your subscription plan you can define how you want to handle exceeding of visitors limit. You can choose «pay-as-you-go» - in this case you will be charged only for additional visitor volume and you make sure your wave keeps going. Or you choose to stop the wave and be notified, in which case you can still purchase additional volume and keep the wave going.
